I took 2 acetaminophen. I hope they help soon. One time an ER doctor chastised me for taking 4 of them.

Yeah, that is a lot.  Smiley

FWIW, your maximum single dose should not exceed 650 mg, and your maximum daily dose should not exceed 4,000 mg (4 g). Unless the FDA has recently changed its mind. Either way, be careful with acetaminophen, young man! You'll shoot your eye out, or give yourself acetaminophen hepatotoxicity.  Wink

I think Finnish was the butt of the joke in this case.  Too many double letters for proper Krautlish.

There are many others that make fun of German. Even if the German is wrong.

I remember the first time my grandmother asked my brothers and I if we wanted to eat some ananas.  We immediately, and of one accord, said NO!  We would have nothing to do with eating an anus.

Where has Isa been? I mean it would be totally wrong of me to say he disappeared off the map completely since I'm sure he has the maps to find himself.

I see the direction you are heading, and I also have wondered where he's been (it's been about a week). Discussion has really gone south since he left. He was our compass, really.

I'm working my way home to Atlanta with my family from Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The U.P. is a beautiful place, but the three day trip back (and another 3 there) hurts.

If I post on OC.net it is because I am so bored at work. I'm trying to limit my posting time to read a mountain of books I have at home.

It's reading books and playing Counter-Strike Source. That is my life at the moment, and I'm enjoying it alot.

Jason, you should be happy to know I'm about to get around to Basic Writings on Heidegger, the book you recommended, that I have left on my desk for months now.

I just started Practice in Christianity from Kierkergaard, and I just love how he dissemliated Matt 11:28 in the beginning of the book. I hope the remainder is just as great.

James and I are a part of the bygone age when people still buy records.

F Piracy!

Plus buying CD's yields much better audio fidelity than the 128kbps recordings people DL. Not saying you can't get FLAC files, but alot of the stuff I'm tracking down comes in either 128 or 256kbps flavors so I end up buying a used CD.

Plus used CDs on my favorite albums are like .01 on Amazon's marketplace.

Last evening I paused
 To watch the sun descend
 In yellow orange peace
 Slowly, taking its time
So I could breathe it in
 Simple beauty, profound hope
 Shaken by this morning’s news
 Of death and sorrow
 Senseless loss
 Random evil before the dawn
 I can only wish…
 And pray…
That those who would pull the trigger
Would pause to watch a sunset
 Or a sunrise…
 "Lord have mercy"

James and I are a part of the bygone age when people still buy records.

F Piracy!

Plus buying CD's yields much better audio fidelity than the 128kbps recordings people DL. Not saying you can't get FLAC files, but alot of the stuff I'm tracking down comes in either 128 or 256kbps flavors so I end up buying a used CD.

Plus used CDs on my favorite albums are like .01 on Amazon's marketplace.

The real question is, do you buy records or cd's?  Or both?

Vinyl is the way to go, bro.

It is an education process for me as I learn about the psychology of spiritual apostasy. And others get the benefit of perhaps hearing righteousness for the first time.

Cleve-Land? Uh huh. That's a perfect weird name for this planet.

Insomnia stinks...

My hypersomnia made its debut in earnest for the season on Sunday evening after a week of feeling lousy.

22 or so hours straight. If I woke up throughout that time, I have no recollection of it.
