Life was not a valuable gift, but death was. Life was a fever-dream made up of joys embittered by sorrows, pleasure poisoned by pain; a dream that was a nightmare-confusion of spasmodic and fleeting delights, ecstasies, exultations, happinesses, interspersed with long-drawn miseries, griefs, perils, horrors, disappointments, defeats, humiliations, and despairs--the heaviest curse devisable by divine ingenuity; but death was sweet, death was gentle, death was kind; death healed the bruised spirit and the broken heart, and gave them rest and forgetfulness; death was man's best friend; when man could endure life no longer, death came and set him free.

Tried to watch a Nat Geo show on the Gospel of Judas... I couldn't stomach it.

Bart Ehrman was tag teaming other tard-herders about some conspiracy for power by the part of the Fathers and Bishops to squish Gnotsticsm. Complete with some hippie talking about Gnostic superior spirituality, and Bart Ehrman mocking Irenaeus.

Tard-herders.  Good one.  Very descriptive of the sort.

It just amazes me that stuff like this can be broadcasted for such dishonesty.

I don't have alot of faith in the viewers who watch these programs and think what they see is true.

Guys I feel really weird in regards to time and everything. Earlier today at around 6:00pm I had probably one of the worst migraines I've had in my life, so I lied down in bed and fell asleep for three hours until 9:00pm when my parents woke me up for dinner. Being the kind woman that she is, she even served me a plate and gave it to me in bed. Well, after eating I fell asleep again and I barely woke up at 1:15AM in the morning. Everyone else in the family is sleeping but I feel fully awake and better like I had already gotten a full nights sleep. What should I do? My schedule seems all off.

Well, maybe he hooked up with the Doctor, got roped into one of his time traveling adventures, lost ten pounds while hopping around space and time in the TARDIS, and got dropped off at the very place and time where he got picked up to make it look like nothing happened. You never know. Grin

A proposed itinerary for my family's trip to Michigan's Upper Peninsula later this summer. http://twitpic.com/9r6ywp

Should be in Marquette (G) on Sunday, so I'm going to try to get to a Liturgy there (I looked it up--there's a church there).

Too late for a before pic, I don't ever have many recent photos of myself for some reason. I don't look much different at this stage, anyway.

I might be able to make some in the future. We'll see.

All signage must be in both English and French, Canada's two official languages.

Now, I'm afraid I'm going to have to issue you a fine. That'll be 10,000 dollars Canadian... or 10 American dollars, if you prefer.

Goldfish or Swedish fish. Which is the superior fish-shaped snack?

Tried to watch a Nat Geo show on the Gospel of Judas... I couldn't stomach it.

Bart Ehrman was tag teaming other tard-herders about some conspiracy for power by the part of the Fathers and Bishops to squish Gnotsticsm. Complete with some hippie talking about Gnostic superior spirituality, and Bart Ehrman mocking Irenaeus.

I watched this with my mom. When she saw what the Gospel of Judas actually said she saw how ridiculous it was and now is less prone to lost/rejected gospel conspiracy theories.

Goldfish; I usually don't consider candy a superior snack.

I think that describes most of our saints.

Haha! When I read that earlier I was thinking, "That doesn't really narrow it down..." but kept my yap shut because I'm no expert on Orthodox saints.

In unrelated news- I got another star! Look at me now, a Senior Member.  Cheesy

LOL. I think I was talking about some sort of Buddha. I'm thinking something along the lines of a St. Nicholas, but I can't recall. Or maybe the person was Hindu. There are "legendary" elements in the saint IIRC.
