I used to hate cheeseburgers and grilled cheese sandwiches but love pizza with melted cheese.

Grilled cheese sandwiches?

No. No. No.

OK. You want to fry them.

My favorite:

Fried peanut butter, cheese, banana, and bacon sandwiches.

On my note of randomness, it is beautiful outside and I'm terribly upset that I have to work. Today would be a good day for a mile run. (Okay, with my CFS, it's more like a power walk. Wink )

We've had the like the most rain and overcastedness ever this year in forever or something.

This morning was jacket weather (30F), so I was wearing a hooded sweatshirt.

Of all the insulting celebrities I have been compared to, this one took the cake:

Some one quipped: Look here comes the Ghost of Christmas Future.

More pale than ever. Thinner than ever. etc.

But today the sun is out and I have to actually be in the salt mines till sundown.

Come visit, Vamrat! You too can wake up to 30 degree mornings, walk outside with a warm coat, and have it warm up to 70, only to fall back down to 48 a few hours later.

Everyone laughs at me at church because I always have a heavy coat, and by the time we leave, it's sundress weather. NOT good for my illness.  Cool

I stayed up watching TV until 3 last night...I felt like I was in college all over again. I miss that! Kind of.

Oh man, I'm feeling all warm and tingly thinking about 30 degree mornings.  Can't wait til we get those again.  I think this weekend we might hit 38 at some point.  That will be sweet.  Will have to break out my speedo.

It's not so much the 30 degrees that's an issue -- rather, the constantly changing temperatures! I can't explain it but it wreaks havoc on my body and I get sick during this time of year. I would rather that the weather be consistent....as long as it's not consistently snow and rain.  Tongue

Come to Finland. Unfortunately we've had less snow than during last two winters but there is still enough for snowmans. I've tried to build one for couple of times but our dog has mistook that as a funny play and ate my snowballs. Tongue

It ain't the temp.

I'll take 0F and snow or some sun.

Dark, rainy nights make for hellish driving around here.

And seeing the sun is nice.

I like a low temperature when I go to bed. I can't get to sleep very easily when it's hot at night, but with coldness I can get to sleep fairly quick.

Because most of those songs are written by spotty geeks who never see any action so their only outlet is to write about it and sell their songs. #laughs

Why is it that most of the songs we hear speak of human mating rituals?

Cause they are awesome?

And most music is marketed to the demographic constantly engaged in such behavior and that which wishes they were.

My girlfriend is probably going as a gypsy. My friend wanted to be swiss guard (if he did I was going to dress as the "vicar of christ on earth, the supreme pontiff of the universal church"), but he couldnt find the costume in time)

If I hear The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire) or Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas one more time, so help me, I'm going to go postal. Angry

And I would happily supply the ammunition.

Hey, at least I haven't heard yet the Jackson Five singing Santa Claus is Coming to Town. As much as I like a lot of his mature music, it's grating to hear young Michael continually pushing his voice sharp in that song.

Greatest. Day. Ever.

Looks like on a sunny, cold day, my neighborhood is no longer red-lined by the JWs.

Heard a knock at the door. Opened it up. And stood a VERY handsome older black couple.

He gave me a tract and asked if he could come back.

Of course I said yes.

Can't wait till next week.

Yeah, I can actually see you winning an argument with JW's. Tongue

That's one of those songs that has only about two sentences in it, repeated over and over. Doesn't sound like he took a lot of time on that one.  Wink

Argument?

They are good company.

Some of the best people I ever met or collection of folks are JWs.

If they would like to come out here to where most people ain't and go door to door to do some "good", then I say good for them.

FWIW. I've convinced more than a few JWs some of their stuff is off. This is before Orthodoxy. People I just happened to be around.

Once you make relationships, you don't have arguments, you have discussions.
