Oh man, TMI or whatever, who cares. When I am ovulating,* I am attracted to almost every man walking around. When I am not, you have to parade 100 of them in front of me and I can maybe pick two. Yes, I know, we're complicated.

*Only giving this example because there are actual studies of what women crave, how they act, sound, etc. when they are ovulating. Fun tidbit: Men think female voices sound sexier when they're ovulating. Have no idea how that works.

It's the gender thing. Girls want that, but guys must look "big" or built or whatever. We're cursed regardless.

Studies have shown that the type of guy a girl wants even varies depending on her cycle.

Yeah, an alpha to knock her up and a gamma to raise the other dude's kids.

Jaded much?

Actually, if I remember right, the rough guy is more attractive during the 'non-fertile' period.

So more life emo kid to woo, then alpha to protect. lol

No no, it's the other way around, I'm 98% sure.

I'm not jaded, just an accepter of reality.

Seriously, eat protein, work out, run. IT WORKS.

Dude you are also a genetic mutant. I mean in a good way. You obviously have many physical gifts. But your template would still work, just most folks would have to tune down the intensity and expectations.

True, I'm sure in a few years, when I'm out of school, have a full-time job, married, etc. I'm not going to be able to keep it up. Sometimes, life can be a kick in the head.

After a large lunch, one of my closet folks in my life gave me a box of my favorite cookie on earth.

Her homemade chocolate chip, coconut, walnut. There were 40 large cookies inside. I finished the box within an hour.

I did give four or five away.

Guess she got ten dollars outta the deal. She'd told someone I work with that is exactly what I would do. They didn't think it possible.

I have an enormous stomach.

Delicious.

LOL.

I am certainly dawdling today, though. Writing e-mails and starting some blog stuff. This weekend was exhausting.

BIG Plus - went to P.F. Changs this weekend with a friend to celebrate her belated birthday. The food is good every. single. time. Our waiter actually paused and said, "Are you guys seriously eating all of that?" We did have a lot of take-home boxes, but it was amazing. Worth not getting any sleep that night. I am mucho paying for that now, though.

Ult. high. A friend saw Liam Gallagher in a pub in London, drinking 9 pints and getting strident with people asking him for photos. I don't think i would have had the courage to even look in his direction in case i upset him.

No one named Gallagher is tough... you're physiologically incapable of being tough when given that kind of name. It just doesn't happen. Consider who the king of Gallaghers is:

New ground rules: Friends dating friends are not allowed.

One of my closest friends is dating Mr. Ismi's best friend, and now the arguments and conflict are getting worse. We got along perfectly for YEARS before this, but of course she feels that she must side with her boyfriend (don't blame her, although I think he's wrong). It was really awkward to talk to her yesterday.  Angry

Another one of Mr. Ismi's friends just asked about one of MY other friends. We haven't divulged it to either party but they have both been interested in each other for months. We never said anything because his guy friend was in a relationship at a time.

I am tired of our friends hooking up and I wish I could institute a no-dating rule.  Tongue Everyone told us that it would be great for all of us to hang out together, but I feel like everyone is just getting resentful of the other person's original friend.

Wow, how confusing was this post?!

I know that all too well. A friend of mine recently got enganged to Mr Right who is another friend's Mr Last Year and it's making for some awkward texts. Your rule should include exs as well.
THAT'S going to be an awkward wedding.

Tell me about it, hopefully it'll all be a bit more relaxed by then and we'll be able to joke about it.

I signed up for an art class last year, with the focus being the nude human body. Everyone took a turn being the model for the rest of the class. This was the reaction when I was the nude model:

Is turning down a $300,000 a year pro soccer contract to stay in school and get my degree a dumb idea? Because my whole family thinks so...

LOL Good point. Although, I am not sure if that's a positive statement or an insult.  Wink

The thing is if you were to drop college and go pro, who knows what could happen in the future? Atleast you know more about your future in school than out of it.

300K a year is alot of dough, my good friend plays for the Carolina Panthers and only makes around 100k-ish, yeah he's a rookie too.

How long is that contract?

Online school is a possibility, but there are big risks with being an athlete. Don't necessarily think it's stupid, but a tough decision to make.

Congrats on the contract!

Couldn't you go back to school later?

Also, wouldn't your contract include clauses to ditch a lot of the other sporting stuff you do?
