Prayers for Boss
« on: December 21, 2005, 02:52:17 AM »
Hey all,

I hope you will remember to pray for my boss, (and after so many years, a great friend) the servant of God, George, who suffered a heart attack last night.  He is in hospital and doing well, but doctors suspect that there may be another heart attack coming...Please pray for him. And there at your prayers, whisper a simple Lord have mercy for this sinner also.

Thank-you all
In Christ,
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner

In my prayers.
If you're living a happy life as a Christian, you're doing something wrong.

Both of you are in my prayers as well!

Lord, have mercy.

The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that “my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge."" Lord, have mercy.
Quote from: Fr Alexander Schmemann
The Gospel is quite clear: both saints and sinners love God. "Religious" people do not love him, and whenever they can, they crucify him.

Of course, is not reflective of the Church, but is rather a surreal bubble. I have visited a lot of different parishes around the world and have listened to many hours of AFR...
