Greetings!
I just found this board and I already see my brotha man Nick is voicing himself.
I've read in some of the other posts that we all seem to have a very similar vision for OO in America (or the West). Let's start that interaction. In Southern CA, there is already a good deal of Syriac-Coptic interaction, and I know that Ethiopians visit the monestary here.
Is anyone else in Southern CA? Any thoughts?
Mikho

Dear Mikho,
I attend St. Demiana Coptic Orthodox Church in San Diego. Where are you?

St. Ephraim in Burbank.
Dear Mikho, (I hope you'll register and stay a while with us!) Is Saint Ephrem in Burbank the Syriac Orthodox cathedral in California?

Sorry about that guys. I'm registered now. Yes, it is the Cathedral for Los Angeles. We get a lot of youth interaction from St. Athanasius Coptic Orthodox Church nearby and recently St. Verena Coptic Orthodox Church. We have a few Coptic and Armenian families who also attend our parish.

Welcome, Mikho, it's good to have another Syrian Christian on board. I'm Indian myself, but as you know, the tradition is the same. I've been wondering where the others were.

I may be a whiteman, but I'm about as Indian Orthodox as a man can be.

"Pobept" is not Indian Orthodox, although he obviously knows which Church is the coolest.
