Thank you brother! I'll try to overlook the picture of Mateja Kezman (who is probably Serbia's best player) but he comes from FC Partizan in Belgrade and I am a Red Star supporter. LOL
I'll add a picture of my son after his baptism a bit later which is much better than Mateja! lol

I was surprised that Greece didn't make it to the World Cup given their great accomplishment at the recen Olympics (or am I remembering another big soccer event?).
How the heck did Switzerland make it?

I'm surprised every Greek on the planet didn't jump out of their collective skins if word got out about what you wrote above. IT WAS THE EUROPEAN CUP!!! They'd all scream! Their first ever and quite an accomplishment I might add!

Actually, this thread had nothing to do with soccer. It was an obscure reference to SouthSerb's 33rd birthday. "Srecan Rodjendan" is Serbian for "Happy Birthday!" (unless of course, my Serbian friend in the next town has led me astray and it actually means something horribly rude).

Soccer is ALWAYS more important than birthdays!!! LOL Your friend gave you the correct information on Happy B-day. Although it would've been quite amusing if he gave you a good Serbian curse line instead. I would have been like "what the heck is wrong with George???" Remember My Big Fat Greek Wedding? Something about arhithea (sp???).  About the Greeks winning the Basketball World Chumpionships, didn't they beat Serbia and Montenegro in the semi finals?

Now here is a picture worthy of this site.
Here is Dejan a few hours after his baptism.

"Grandma, what big eyes you have......." What a cutie!
(and couldn't help noticing the Greek geometric design on the hem of his baptisimal gown)

Yes, his Kuma insisted on the fancy baptismal gear and nobody does them better than the Greeks!
