Prayers for Katie
« on: November 29, 2005, 08:01:20 AM »
Please pray for Katie.  She is a friend's daughter who is very sick and has been for about a week.  At first her dr. thought she had encephalitis, but I think he has ruled this out.  She has been admitted to the hospital for an MRI and other tests to try to determine what is wrong.  The dr. thinks she may be having migraines, but I have never heard of migraines causing problems like hers.

Thanks to everyone.

Lord have mercy on Katie, her family, and all the caregivers involved!

Katie's MRI was clear, but they still don't know what caused her problem.  She will stay in the hospital at least another night.  She has an IV with something for the pain.  Her mom seems more upbeat about Katie's condition though.  Thanks again to everyone who prayed for Katie and her family.

Lord, have mercy.

"What people say when they speak on their own account is repellent and murksome, for their words do not come from the living spring of the Spirit, but are spawned from the morass of their own heart, a bog infested with the leeches, snakes and frogs of desire, delusion and dissipation; the water of their knowledge is evil-smelling, turbid and torpid, sickening to those who drink it and filling them with nausea and disgust."

Thank the Lord... may she see good health in the months to come!

Lord, have mercy.
I don't typically presume to speak for Mor
