what a loss...
« on: May 10, 2019, 02:18:22 AM »
It seems I've lost a lock of hair that was cut during my baptism... I put it in a piece of paper and some of my housemates must have thrown it away :(

I'm kind of depressed - cause the hair symbolizes a sacrifice and strength...

What to do? Is it something I need to confess?

Such things happen, indicate that we are need to be more focused.
BTW, my priest burn the cut piece of my hair during christmation at the same service, in a nearby candle. It was quite symbolical.

At your next confession you might tell your priest how upset you were about losing the bit of hair. He can set your mind at rest and perhaps give some advice that will be worth keeping in mind when you suffer future losses.

I agree.

If I had to give advice, I would not stress over it. It wasn't your fault. God knows how much you respect His holy objects. That alone is saying something.

How magnified are Thy works, O Lord! In wisdom hast Thou made them all.
