Converts to OO
« on: November 14, 2005, 06:01:44 PM »
Christ is Among Us!
Among the EO in recent decades we have seen quite a number of converts from Protestant and RC backgrounds. I was wondering whether the OO in the West has been experiencing something similar?
In Christ,
Rd. David

To an extent, yes.  Our family of churches is of course not as abundant as our EO brethren, or as known, but there are converts.

That would be me.  :)

I have not met many other converts in Coptic circles, though I'm fairly new in the church.  A few who married Copts, and a woman in our congregation who was EO and switched due to convictions about Chalcedon.
