At Christian Forums, the Oriental Orthodox and Eastern Orthodox Christians are segregated into two seperate forums without there being one to freely discuss our similarities and differences and our common Orthodoxy.

No debates on the differences between us are allowed on either the Oriental Orthodox or the Eastern Orthodox forums. An Oriental Orthodox Christian is allowed to be accused of not being Orthodox on the Eastern Orthodox forum without having the opportunity to defend himself.
If there were a shared forum, we hopefully would be able to work out these issues with actual evidence instead of baseless attacks.

In case you are an EO member of Christian forums, please vote in this poll:

Peace.
Advertising links to other forums is againt OC.net rules.

It was the OO who originally asked to divide the forum....

I got an account there once, and I immediately had this Evangelical from Puerto Rico add me to his msn messenger list. ÂÂ He constantly bugged me and sent me all these photos of him and insisted I send photos of myself ([whisper-voice]I think he was gay![/whisper-voice]....*snicker*)....then I said I was Orthodox and he had a hissy fit about "Catholics" "worshipping" Mary (oh, no!.....they're venerating a <gasp!>.....WOMAN!). ÂÂ I'm never going back there again, but my username is "Mr. Tambourine Man"....(yay for Dylan!)

I believe that the two seperate forums should remain if there can also be a shared forum.

Well, OO can use the EO forum and vise versa to fellowship, ask questions, etc, just not debate. As had happened in the past (there as well as here) the debates were generally not constructive.
