Teen Lenten Retreat

I'm trying to spread the word as much as possible, so I figure I'll go ahead and post this here as well as any other place I can think of!

Assumption of the Virgin Mary Albanian Orthodox Church in Worcester, MA(whooo, that's a long name!) is hosting its first ever Lenten Teen Retreat.  I will be running this retreat in conjunction with Fr. Theodore Sakellar, the parish priest at St. Mary's.  The retreat, entitled Walk On (just like the U2 song) will look at our journey to Christ and Christ's words, "love one another as I have loved you".  The retreat is based on current music and should be a lot of fun for teens, ages 12-17.

In addition to what is on the flyer, its also very exciting news that Bishop Nikon of the OCA will be joining us for an Akathist on Friday night before the retreat begins and may stay for a while to get to know the teens!  So....if you know of any teens, regardless of jurisdiction, in New England (or farther away) who may be interested, please have them contact me or Fr. Theodore.  Our contact info is on the flyer!

Ksenia, this is great news!  Please bring your flyers when you come to my church Sunday (but call Fr. Michael first and ask him to announce the retreat from the ambon at Announcement time).  We'll put those flyers up all over the place!
