Being a newcomer, you may have not noticed the private message feature at the top right-hand corner of the screen.

Please check it.  Private message from me.

Apologies to the moderators in advance for this unnecessary new thread.

If I can delete it, I will do so once it has served its purpose.

Not a problem at all.

What would you folks think if I made it pop up a new window each time u received a new message? Would it be annoying or would u find it useful?

I think it would be good to do, with the ability to disable in your profile if desired (I am a programmer, so I know this is work to add that feature Wink )  I've been late to respond to PMs (Pers. Msg.) over at CBBS because I forget to look at the itty bitty area over there that says I have a new PM.  Having a popup works nice over at the Protester board I help moderate.  Just MHO of course.

Well I write my HTML from scratch and do not use that WYSIWYG stuff. So that counts for something, right? ;-)

And to think, all I had to do was forget to check my messages . . .  Grin

I think I will post on this thread from time to time just to keep my name in the limelight.

Besides, this entire web site has been practically postless for the last couple of days.

Ah, a vanity bump! Gotta love those. Since things are slow and I hate seeing the same thread sit at the top of the "5 most recent" list, I'll give ye' thread a wee bump!
