With bickering going on in other threads I thought this would be a nice poem to post from Saint Nektarios:

O Divine Love!ÂÂ  Come I entreat thee,
From the depths of my soul and the midst of my heart
O Christ, the Divine Tabernacle deign to purify me
From every stain

O Divine Love!ÂÂ  Engage my soul
Enlivened by Thy Godly love
O Divine Passion! O Divine Love!
Heartedly I entreat Thee to bestow on Thy servant

O Divine Love!ÂÂ  It is Thee I entreat
Grant love upon them who seek Thee with affection
For the wellspring of love is
Thy Godly law, O sweet Love!

O Divine Love!ÂÂ  The only richness
Preserving the world, upholding the universe
Thou settest the course of the law of heaven
Thou settest the course of the earthly law

The Kingdom is love
In which reignth joy and peace
Blessedness reignth
With the passionate love of Divinity and joy

Silouan, thankyou for posting that, I really liked reading it.  Where did you find that at? I have a book of St Nektarios' but it's just about his life, I don't remember seeing it in there.  I liked that a lot Smiley thankyou again for sharing it with us. Smiley

Ahh ok, I haven't heard of that one before, thankyou Silouan.  I hope you don't mind, I copied it into my online journal because I liked it.  If you want me to remove it, I will, just let me know.  Smiley
