Reading for Great Vespers next Saturday
« on: August 12, 2017, 06:25:09 PM »
Please say a small prayer for me that I do well on reading during Great Vespers next week. I'm reading with someone else but still don't want to mess up.
"The business of the Christian is nothing else than to be ever preparing for death (μελεπᾷν ἀποθνήσκειν)."

— Saint Irenaeus of Lyons, Fragment XI

Modernist thinking and being consists of nothing but uncritical acceptance.

Lord, have mercy.
"Is any of the above Orthodox?  I have no clue, so there's that."  ~me

Taking a hiatus.  Pray for me, a sinner.
