Lot's of strange stuff on there, and lots of things I disagree with, but a few points of commonality as well.  An odd guy with an interesting sense of retro-style.  And by the look of the photos, not such a young fogey anymore.  Time marches on, I suppose.

In the interest of selam I should add that the above is standard manosphere stuff, not necessarily views held by Mr. Fogey himself. Of course my attempts to clarify are possibly due to my beta physical and psychical constitution, so if you are a true alpha you may wish to disregard this post. Selam.

Robert Lee--no, not the football announcer; no, not the confederate hero; I mean the guy who spoke at the MTV awards, and is indeed a descendant of the famous 'murican--has resigned from being a pastor at Bethany United Church of Christ in Charlotte. Apparently some of his congregation didn't like... something or other that he said about moving past certain things.

There is such a thing as spiritual claustrophobia... when the perceived narrow-mindedness of a practice or belief makes you feel anxious or repelled. It's often an irrational response, like any other phobia, but it does exist, and don't let 'em tell you otherwise.

Nineteen years ago, when I was a teenager, I quit a minimum-wage, part time, entry level position at a company, without giving notice. Because of that mistake the company now won't even consider me for employment. Let that be a lesson to you young'uns.  ;)

I want images of a monastery with radishes, because monks in the early church loved radishes.

No statues or icons--desert dwellers don't use such things.

One window allowed. 1/2 window in out house if needed.

Door should not be painted, unless it is, but it isn't.

No more than 6 monks per room to avoid overcrowding.

Brooms should be available upon request.

addendum to my post on fast food...

they need to have boxes in these places, 12"x12"x12", with fly trap gunk on the bottom and a fly ribbon thinger hanging from the top; there would be a plastic bag lining it allowing for easy set up and use; there would be a small slot on each side near the top to allow bugs entry; there would be a fragrant stench, detectable by bugs but not by humans, emanating from the box which is most pleasing to bugs, to attract them into the sticky trap; once a day the traps would be cleaned as easily as taking out the trash and a new one put in place;

I hate bugs while i'm eating

Sometimes I can feel myself becoming the stereotypical 'grumpy old man' and it's a bummer, but I guess inevitable.

Get off my lawn!  And while you're at it, turn off that crap music!
