Lately I've noticied that when I'm listening to mp3's on my computer the volume goes up and down involuntarily all through the song. It doesn't happen with any specific song, it occurs when I listen to any of them. I've tried a virus scan, as well as using different media players - all to no avail.

Has anyone ever heard of this happening before?

If so, how can I fix it?
