Right now, the "you have new messages" question doesn't work for me, because both IvilEmpire and Firefox block pop-ups. Allowing the pop-up doesn't appear to help.

It appears to be possible to open up a second window in such a way that it isn't considered a pop-up (Snopes does this, for instance-- ironically to display the kind of "pop-up" that people find obnoxious). As it stands the question is a nuisance.

haha sorry didn't see this one.

yea i sympathize with your plight, as running firefox yields nothing as it blocks pop-ups.  I'll remove the pop-up notification shortly.

Try holding ctrl before and during the time it is supposed to pop up
