Looking for sources on confession
« on: September 26, 2017, 10:02:31 PM »
Hello,

I would like to research confession in the Armenian, Coptic, and other churches. I am particularly interested in the history, traditions, and the thoughts behind how it is practiced. Do you know any articles or resources on this?

Thank you,
Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. (2 Cor 2:6)

Is there a difference in how it's practiced between jurisdictions?  I haven't delved into this area, I'm sorry to say.

Is any of the above Orthodox?  I have no clue, so there's that.

The chapters of this book provide some useful patristic and historical references...
