A while back there was a post regarding how Orthodoxy is presented in the media (ala My Big Fat Greek Wedding)

I have read two books this spring/summer that depict Orthdoxy in a respectful manner. Both authors seem to have an acquaintance and respect for Eastern Orthodox traditions, although both are secular novels.

So check out THE HISTORIAN (see my post "fun summer reading" in "Reviews") and THE GEOGRAPHER'S LIBRARY.
I would classify them both as historical novels in the fantasy/fiction/mystery genres.
