St Nersess Seminary Coffee Mug
« on: January 25, 2016, 12:23:52 PM »
Dear friends,

Mourn with me: my St Nersess Seminary coffee mug, out of which I faithfully drank my morning coffee for the better part of ten years, has met with destruction at the hands of a clumsy non-Mor.

Of course, I could probably contact the seminary and see if they have more mugs for sale, but do you have any coffee mugs you'd recommend I consider purchasing?
Please don't project meta-debates onto me.

You could have your coffee with coffe with Sr. Vassa.

But that would be so EO of you.

The best coffee I drink is from the Polish Pottery Bubble Mug my husband bought me for a gift.   They can be a bit pricey, and I have only one, but they are beautiful and wonderful, and I treasure mine.

Blessed Nazarius practiced the ascetic life. His clothes were tattered. He wore his shoes without removing them for six years.

Coffee 's all about getting yourself out of your house in the morning .
She hears, upon that water without sound,
A voice that cries, “The tomb in Palestine
Is not the porch of spirits lingering.
It is the grave of Jesus, where he lay.”
We live in an old chaos of the sun,
Or old dependency of day and night,
Or island solitude, unsponsored, free,
Of that wide water, inescapable.

I'm surprised Mor doesn't drink from a goblet, he's too good for a handle.

really....you think the non-mor broke the cup doing something other than being overzealous in offering the Mor a sip so that he wouldn't have to touch the mug?

I recommend something like this. It screams corporate world so everyone thinks you have a high powered job, but it is so boring that no one will dare ask what it is.

God bless!

I need to buy a thermos like this and start brining it to campus. Everyone will assume I got some kind of sweet internship.

I have a bamboo fiber cup at work. Apart from a silicon handle and a cover it's biodegradeable which is nice and the the cover keeps the coffee warm. Theoretocally you could take it with you to lunch breaks and produce less waste by puring the coffee into the mug instead throw-away cardboard mug.

Our Father.  On the part that's not visible in the picture the same prayer is written in English, including the priest part "For Thine is the Kingdom..."

I recommend that he buys one.  He doesn't have to.
