For my uncle
« on: December 30, 2015, 02:37:19 PM »
My uncle Hovagim is in the hospital on a ventilator. He's 92 years old and has congestive heart failure. The doctors say he may not make it. Please pray for him and for the whole family. I won't name off relatives. I have a zillion relatives. But everyone is very distressed over this. My mom is crying, everyone is crying. Just pray for God's mercy on my uncle and everyone. Thanks.

Lord, have mercy on your children.
Psalm 37:23 The Lord guides a man safely in the way he should go.

Prov. 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.

Lord, have mercy.
Happy shall he be, that shall take and dash thy little ones against the rock. Alleluia.

Memory eternal.
Quote from: Fr. Thomas Hopko, dystopian parable of the prodigal son
...you can imagine so-called healing services of the pigpen. The books that could be written, you know: Life in the Pigpen. How to Cope in the Pigpen. Being Happy in the Pigpen. Surviving in the Pigpen. And then there could be counselling, for people who feel unhappy in the pigpen, to try to get them to come to terms with the pigpen, and to accept the pigpen.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Salpy.

May God forgive him any sins, and grant him eternal rest among His saints.

Memory eternal!!!
Conquer evil men by your gentle kindness, and make zealous men wonder at your goodness. Put the lover of legality to shame by your compassion. With the afflicted be afflicted in mind. Love all men, but keep distant from all men.

Memory Eternal.
If you cannot remember everything, instead of everything, I beg you, remember this without fail, that not to share our own wealth with the poor is theft from the poor and deprivation of their means of life; we do not possess our own wealth but theirs.  If we have this attitude, we will certainly offer our money; and by nourishing Christ in poverty here and laying up great profit hereafter, we will be able to attain the good things which are to come. - St. John Chrysostom
