Job prayer request
« on: October 12, 2015, 08:24:39 PM »
Hello everyone  :)

I've having some trouble with keeping a job recently.  I'm not going to blame anyone but myself, and I will fully admit to squandering what God has blessed me with.  I have a wife and 2 kids to take care of, and I want to be able to provide for them.

If you could be so kind as to pray for me.

I should probably know this, but if you need my full name for a prayer, please let me know and I will post it.  My first name is John 😎

Thank you so much.

I am in a similar situation right now (2 kids and everything). I know what it feels like. You and your family are in my prayers. Lord have mercy!
"I will pour out my prayer unto the Lord, and to Him will I proclaim my grief; for with evils my soul is filled, and my life unto hades hath drawn nigh, and like Jonah I will pray: From corruption raise me up, O God." -Ode VI, Irmos of the Supplicatory Canon to the Theotokos

Lord, have Mercy!

Lord, have mercy on your servant John.
Psalm 37:23 The Lord guides a man safely in the way he should go.

Prov. 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.
