Hello
« on: July 13, 2005, 04:49:00 PM »
Hi everybody,

How's everybody doing?  I'm new to the forum, I just found out about it at a Catholic forum where I post occasionally.  I'm Greek Orthodox, born and raised in Ontario, Canada.  I hope to get to know some of you better, looking forward to some great conversations.

Welcome Ted,

I take it that your the guy from aboutcatholics that writes the gargantuan posts? I've posted over there too (under IacobPersul) but I don't go over there much any more, having found the attitudes of certain of the RCs rather antagonistic.

Hope you enjoy the forum. It's certainly the best one I've come across yet and I think I've found a number of good friends (if you can call people you've never met friends) over here and had some great discussions.

Hadel and James,

Thank-you both for your warm welcomes.  And you're right James, I'm the one with the gargantuan posts at aboutcatholics.  Wasn't intentional, but I tend to be a blabbermouth sometimes.  I haven't been by there lately either.  I was so glad to have heard this forum mentioned there, and I'm so glad it was.  I think the layout is just excellent, and it looks like a great place to converse.

I'll work on keeping the posts short.
