Thanks for the interesting article.  I haven't finished it, but from a brief reading of the first few parts, it seems he does mis-state the position of the Orthodox (Oriental) Church on this matter.

I found it interesting too.  I've only read about 1/3 of it.  My question is, when was this position clarified?  Is it recent?  It's perhaps understandable that some Non-Oriental Orthodox people misinterpret miaphysitism.  But it's a bit disturbing that there are Ethiopians who mis-state the church's position.

I'm the owner of the site tezeta.org. The article came out originally in 1972 in the magazine "Ethiopia Observer", it may be interesting to engage the author in this discussion...
