The Indian Orthodox metropolitan in charge of ecumneical relations wrote to Cardinal Walter Casper  of RC about the withdrawal of Indian Orthodox Church from official ecumenical dialogue.  This is due to Malankara RC Major Archbishop using the title 'Catholicos', a title which Pope of Rome did not assign to the Major Archbishop.  Malankara RC is using the confusing situation in Indian Church to convert Orthodox/Jacobite people and  clergy to RC.

I've always wondered what's the point in ecumenical discussions and as a result "forbid proselytism."  I personally see why some EO ecumenists are so angered at the ecumenical talks.

We should continue to convert RCC if we believe they are under error.

God bless.

I think the major issue is our own fault we fight each other and  giving them chance to convert  more innocent members of church, but its unlikely we will ever understand it.
