For the start of Graduate School
« on: August 23, 2015, 03:50:58 PM »
Hi all

I'm going to start graduate school, tomorrow. Working full time and studying part time, I'm afraid of how stressed out I'm going to be. Pray for me that God will help me manage my time, endure the difficulty of graduate work, and give me motivation to study hard. I also need prayer in dealing with the fact that I'll have much less free time than I had since I graduated college and started working.

To help me manage my time and study more, I'm going to stop posting on forums for at least a month. If I'm going to study diligently, I will have to fight my addiction to OC.net. Pray for me in that regard, too.

Thanks!
Oh Holy Apostle, St. John, pray for us

Through the intercessions of Saints Cosmas and Damian, LORD have mercy!

My prayers.

Lord have mercy.
The memory of God should be treasured in our hearts like the precious pearl mentioned in the Holy Gospel. Our life's goal should be to nurture and contemplate God always within, and never let it depart, for this steadfastness will drive demons away from us. - Paraphrased from St. Philotheus of Sinai

I've come out of self-imposed exile to pray for you.  I am finishing my Master's in December.

Lord have mercy on your servant and grant them the wisdom, patience, and strength to successfully complete their studies.

Lord, have mercy.
Psalm 37:23 The Lord guides a man safely in the way he should go.

Prov. 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.
