Dental Prayer Request
« on: August 19, 2015, 05:29:46 PM »
Please pray for my upper back tooth.  I had a small cavity filled eight days ago, and the same tooth cracked today.  My dentist cannot work on it again until Monday.

Lord have mercy. St Antipas pray for us.

You are in my prayers.  I hope your dentist gave you a presciption for painkillers or phone one in to a pharmacy for you.  Maybe the tooth can still be saved with a root canal.

May the Lord have mercy on you and minimize the pain until Monday

Lord, have mercy.
Happy shall he be, that shall take and dash thy little ones against the rock. Alleluia.

Once Christ has filled the Cross, it can never be empty again.

Thanks for the prayers.  The dentist said the way my tooth broke, I have two options:
1.  A filling, which may or may not last.
2.  A crown.

2.  A crown.

So no root canal procedure is needed: that is the good news.
Go with the crown and save the tooth.  Fillings can fall out or break & then you are in danger of loosing the tooth.

^You are right.  No root canal.  I did choose the option of the crown.  Thanks.

+1. A properly fitted crown will save you about 15 years of trouble, as long as you take care of your gums.

The worst is finished.   I am back from my appointment.  I am a little numb and sore but doing fine.  Two more  prayer requests would be that my temporary holds for two weeks and that the final appointment solves the problem.

Lord, have mercy.
Psalm 37:23 The Lord guides a man safely in the way he should go.

Prov. 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.
