Infertility
« on: May 26, 2015, 10:21:48 PM »
My husband and I have been trying to conceive for a year now. A few weeks ago, I had surgery to correct endometriosis. The surgeon said that if I don't conceive in the next six months, IVF will probably be my only option. Not only do I not want to do IVF for ethical reasons, but the entire process with shots and surgery terrifies me. I also suffer from low progesterone, and getting my hormone levels into balance has been very difficult. While visiting my parents in Connecticut next week, I hope to visit St. Irene's in Astoria and ask for a piece of blessed apple. Please pray for me.

Lord, have mercy on your handmaiden.
Psalm 37:23 The Lord guides a man safely in the way he should go.

Prov. 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.

Lord, have mercy.
Happy shall he be, that shall take and dash thy little ones against the rock. Alleluia.

May the Lord shower His mercy upon you....and may you be fruitful.
Conquer evil men by your gentle kindness, and make zealous men wonder at your goodness. Put the lover of legality to shame by your compassion. With the afflicted be afflicted in mind. Love all men, but keep distant from all men.

I'm with the camp of 13 million Americans that believe politicians are, or are controlled by, Reptilians. I think only monks can solve this problem. It doesn't seem right that they prefer to ignore it.

Wasn't able to make it to that church while near NYC. I might try writing to them. It looks like this month didn't work out in terms of getting pregnant. Thank you for your prayers.

I reject all that I wrote that isn't in accordance with the teachings of the Orthodox Church. Also, my posts reflect my opinions (present or former) and nothing else.

There is a vine that grows out of a rock at Sv. Basil of Ostrog, those that eat from the grapes of the vine have been blessed with children, even though they suffered infertility. I would also recommend the visiting of Holy New Martyr Stanko of Ostrog and his little incorruptible hands.

Thank you for the suggestions. I don't know if we'll be able to visit either of those places in the near future, due to financial constraints.
