IMO people should respect privacy of each individual and not to disclose any personal information such as name and time of death on internet.
Good argument, but a few years (and in the one case a decade) too late. The above information has been readily available on the forum since both individuals passed. In the case of Mary, I didn't post her last name (which I know). We're striking a balance, I hope, between privacy and the need for the community to pray for its departed members. If someone's family doesn't want their info on here, it would be "easy enough" to delete it. Mary's own husband posted on her passing, so I don't think it's an issue; John's passing has been memorialized for 10 years now, and I doubt that will change (or that it is unappreciated).
