Of your charity I ask prayers for the repose of Jay, a member of the boy choir our son is a part of. He had been fighting cancer for some years.  He died yesterday afternoon. Please pray for his mother also in her grief.

Thank you, everyone.

I've found out that the Boy Choir will be singing at Jay's funeral on Saturday.  When our oldest heard the news he looked stunned and said "He did?!?  I knew him." and looked very sad.   I don't think he's ever had the experience of a child/young person that he knew die.  I think Jay was about 14.  so young

May the Lord repose his soul in the Heavenly Jerusalem and may He give His Eternal Peace and Comfort to the family.  The prayers of the Holy Theotokos and Anba Paul be with them.
