I thought the cross proves God wants to rescue all people who can't rescue themselves
Why should good people who did not accept orthodoxy because of their own family or because they are unsure suffer maybe they should cease to exist but only God gets to decide who ceases to exist and if that is even possible and with peoples consent to allow God to try to make them cease to exist
People need to be orthodox to be saved upon death but other good people are saved after death
And everyone who is saved might receive the same reward
Wasn't the cross Gods display of love for all His children  ?
Even the non good if they repent after death sincerely with their free will without force might be saved but maybe not for God has given enough chances and it can't be heaven to live with unrepentant sinners if they only repent by force

That's what I said.

That's why Judaism, Hinduism and certain types of Calvinism, and Islam have to be rejected as viable in this respect. The former are ethnocentric in the extreme, the latter are ideologies which condemn masses of people to hell, at many times, for no reason or fault of their own.

You sort of missed my point, but that's okay.

Take comfort in Scripture.

"For God does not wish that a sinner should die, rather, that he be converted and live."
My only weakness is, well, never mind
