Greek Orthodox Divine Liturgy
« on: February 21, 2015, 06:35:25 PM »
Hi everyone! :) so tomorrow will be the first time ever that I attend a Greek Orthodox liturgy. I've been listening to a lot of Russian stuff but haven't really explored the Greek church. What should I expect? How long is the Divine Liturgy? Is there a particular dress code? (obviously, I will dress professionally, but I ask because some Russian churches want females to wear ankle-length skirts, long-sleeve shirts, etc.). Anything I should not do (don't wanna do anything offensive). I'm Orthodox Christian but every church has its own traditions so don't wanna violate any of the Greek church's. Any information is welcome. Thanks in advance, I really appreciate it! I'm really excited to attend tomorrow! :D
