Christ is Risen!
 
Dear Brethren in Christ,
 
I received this sad news from Elias Mukasa, a Seminarian from Uganda at St. Tikhon's.   He has made this prayer request:  "Pray for the souls of those killed and Fr. Emmanuel to recover.Tragic incident."
 
Fr. Emmanuel, an Orthodox Priest in Uganda, was seriously wounded.  His sister, Masitula Namikadde, was killed, as was, Ssali Mulumba, headteacher of St. Mary's Orphanage School (Orthodox).  Fr. Emmanuel is one of the founders of that school.

Yes, Lord Have Mercy.  I know someone who is in Uganda with the OCMC right now.  I hope he is OK.
