work
« on: May 23, 2005, 05:26:41 AM »
I am at a cross roads with work.  Whether to resign and look for another job or not. I made a mistake (unintentional), and when I realised I had, I told my boss. Now it's hit the fan, and we don't know what to do. Any prayers would be appreciated.

Jay

Lord, have mercy.

My prayers are joining others for you!

Also, please do not be discouraged by you doing the right thing. Even if you need to find another employer, this is because the Lord needs you to serve Him elsewhere!

As one who has miraculously (sp?) kept her job despite being definately bad at it, I can say I've been in your shoes (not that I'm saying your bad at your job, I'm saying I've had to face the possiblity of seaking other emloyment a time or two) a few times.  Praying for you, and I definately second what Chris says.
Now where were we? Oh yeah - the important thing was I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn’t have white onions because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...

Thanks for the prayers and wishes. I'm in the process of converting to Orthodoxy, and it's nice to know that there are people praying. please also pray for my wife and three kids, aged 14,11 & 18 months. It's been really hard on the wife/kids too. Again, thanks for the prayers and I will keep you posted with any happenings.
