Before you visit this link,I must warn you that it is not for the liturgically sound.  This is supposed to be a Gospel Procession.  The video clip is not (to my knowledge), what the liturgical refomers who produced the Novus Ordo had in mind, and this is not to be taken as an accurate reflection of a typical Roman Catholic Mass.  In fact, it would perhaps go unnoticed as such by many Roman catholics.

(It requires Quicktime)

I don't know why they even use candles.  Seems like a disco ball would be more appropriate.

Just imagine a cross between a catholic procession and a dance party.

Wow....

um, I don't know whether to laugh or to cry....

I watched it with chris and another classmate... needless to say, there was some sort of momentary stunned silence... our other friend (a reserved Briton) I think is going to need therapy now after the pure shock of seeing this movie...

A line from Apocalypse Now comes to mind:

"The horror....

the horror..."

Back to reality, cleveland is considering jumping into a bottle of mavrodaphne spiked with metaxa. I'm just jumping into the metaxa.

Wow! I just don't have words to describe this. Looks like these people are trying to blend charismatic style with liturgical worship. I don't think the two are really compatible.

I didn't see anything Liturgically errant. Did see what appeared to be a congregation singing joyfully to The Lord as The Scriptures were being displayed for the Gospel reading. I'd say its perferable to the many Churches full of "The Frozen choosen" that have plagued the western Church for the past 30 years or so. Afro Kiss Wink
