Hi Friends,

I have increased the max. post length from 10000 characters to 100000 characters.

This means that when you post large articles, etc, you wont have to create several threads to do it ; it will fit in one.

Thanks,

Robert

Another thing to keep in mind in posting articles in parts (if, even after Robert's adjustments, you need to do so) is that you don't have to make separate threads; you can simply make one new thread, with the first installment of an article, and then reply to that with subsequent installments until the article is reproduced in full.  Or, if you can link to it, that would also work.

I'm seeing from my two long articles posted in parts that people don't seem interested in long reads.  Note the posts on 'canonicity'.  The first post has the most hits.  But each additional post has less hits.  So either people didn't find the subject matter interesting or did't want to do the long read.

But I think the new feature is a plus for the anyhow.  Thanks Bobby!

I want to read them, I just need time to devote to one long read as opposed to a bunch of shorter ones, if that makes sense.

I am glad to see that the length has been increased as I now can post long articles. Smiley
