This isn't quite correct.  His ordination was not done with the permission
of the ruling hierarch of ECOF (Bishop Germain).

Bracy was ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Gabriel (Loynes, former
ROCOR priest who managed to get himself elevated to the episcopate by three
"old calendarist" bishops in Athens, March, 1996).  Bishop Gabriel's
relationship with ECOF was very short in duration.  In April of 1996,
Kenneth Bracy was promoted for diaconate and priesthood by Bishop Gabriel
while he was in Paris, but Bishop Germain of ECOF denied his request for
Orders.  Bishop Germain later released Bishop Gabriel from any canonical
attachment to the life of ECOF in the USA, and Kenneth Bracy decided to
follow Bishop Gabriel  (who had ordained  him late August or September of
1996 against the wishes of Bishop Germain).  Kenneth Bracy continued
serving as a priest in the community of Bishop Gabriel until his acceptance
by the OCA.

He is looking for any church that will take him, and yes he will end up on the Pokrov list.

Hello, any old friends out there?

I knew Fr. Ken from Kodiak Alaska.  I have always been confused by his motivations, and I think he might like to indulge in controversy--He switched from OCA to ROCR in Alaska, which caused a hug stink because there are no ROCR churches in ALaska, or were none.  Vladika Nikolai, who is a righteous Bishop, was not pleased with Fr. Ken's manuverings.  But Fr. Ken is a pretty nice guy.

Mamas,
Welcome to the board.  But I must say, it is rather weird that you have dug up two different year-old threads.  They're dead - let them RIP.
