On my office PC some of the text in the left column of the initial page of this site overlays itself. This doesn't happen on my home PC. I tried changing screen resolution, but that didn't help. Could it be a browser setting? I use IE.

Sounds like it might be a font issue. Install the same fonts that are on your home PC

I switched from large fonts to small, and that fixed it.
