Given that you actually want to come back, we can await your return.  Cheesy

Well I don't know if I actually want to come back.... I have a strange feeling, I love Agion Oros (while quite possibly being terrified by Thessaloniki) but still time to come back and get some things lined up for school.....   I left Greece this morning and am getting reading to go a beer festival of some sort with my sister in Germany.... What better place for bright week?  But I do get the feelling I will be back in Greece sooner rather than later.

Those who ignore history tend to repeat it.

Well stated!  It's the main reason we have to stop putting the emphasis on ethnic identity and traditions rather than Orthodoxy.

And the old 'We all pray to the same God' statement.  Wish I had a nickle every time I heard that one.  Especially in my own family.  What is surprising is we usually hear it from their non-Orthodox spouse as they are preparing to make marriage arrangements IN THEIR CHURCH.  Our people are so gullible they never stop to ask if that is true then why get married in the non-Orthodox Church!
