I hope this comes to fruition in the near future. They're looking for volunteers so thought I'd share:

Interesting.

I once saw a Bible someone had self-published claiming to have the EOTC's longer canon, but it had the wrong books (e.g. the epistles of St. Clement rather than the so-called Ethiopic Clement).
Blessed Nazarius practiced the ascetic life. His clothes were tattered. He wore his shoes without removing them for six years.

THE OPINIONS HERE MAY NOT REFLECT THE ACTUAL OR PERCEIVED ORTHODOX CHURCH

Take a breath, read Ecclesiastes 1:9.

A very worthy project. I wish the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church would officially commission such a project. I remain skeptical of such an undertaking that is commenced apart from the official sanction of the Church.

I think the Ethiopian Bible and Dead Sea Scrolls have illustrated art in them.
Jesus Prayer : the invocation of the name of Jesus, most commonly, 'Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me' , although there are a number of variant forms. Not merely a technique or a Christian mantra, but a prayer addressed to the person of Jesus Christ, expressing our living faith in Him as Son of God and Savior.
