The memory of God should be treasured in our hearts like the precious pearl mentioned in the Holy Gospel. Our life's goal should be to nurture and contemplate God always within, and never let it depart, for this steadfastness will drive demons away from us. - Paraphrased from St. Philotheus of Sinai

I can't possibly think of anything you have done here to cause offense. Why is it that it's always those who don't need to apologize who are the first to do so? You're wonderful Maria! You are an asset to this forum.  :)

God forgives.
Blessed Nazarius practiced the ascetic life. His clothes were tattered. He wore his shoes without removing them for six years.

Maria,

You and I see eye to eye often on a number of different things (though there have been a few times we have clashed) but I see nothing to forgive from your recent actions.

We all need forgiveness....none of us are prefect.

May God forgive you, and all of us.
Conquer evil men by your gentle kindness, and make zealous men wonder at your goodness. Put the lover of legality to shame by your compassion. With the afflicted be afflicted in mind. Love all men, but keep distant from all men.

I am sorry for all whom I have offended.

Maria,

If you did something so outrageous that it offended me, you should be proud.
I would be happy to agree with you, but then both of us would be wrong.

Thank you everyone,

Let's keep praying for each other that we may be saved.

Lord, have mercy
Vain existence can never exist, for "unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain." (Psalm 127)

If the faith is unchanged and rock solid, then the gates of Hades never prevailed in the end.

Dear Maria, please forgive me if I have ever made you uncomfortable due to the anonymous nature of the internet and debates that lack ones tone of voice and visual cues.

You have never offended me despite our usually being on opposite ends of the spectrum of a number of issues. Quite the opposite, you have always been kind and you have never personalized our differences. I agree with Gebre above, to the extent of posts that I have read and remembered.

May you always be present here.

Lord, Have Mercy

Lord, have mercy on us all.
Psalm 37:23 The Lord guides a man safely in the way he should go.

Prov. 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.
