“It is later than you think!”

« on: April 27, 2005, 05:36:03 AM »

Dear Friends,

I maybe on the verge of losing my job. I teach Theology in a Catholic school, and my becoming Orthodox will eliminate my employment. Only committed and praticing Catholics can teach theology in my diocese.

I know Holy Orthodoxy to be the way, as this has been quite a struggle for my family and I.

Thanks for your prayers!

Seraphim

In my prayers
BTW- It's just as well you don't teach English- I think you meant the subject title to be: "may lose job!"

You are right, my fault.  I was in a hurry this morning.  "losing"

I stand corrected.

Now where were we? Oh yeah - the important thing was I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn’t have white onions because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...

Holy Father Patrick, thank you for your help!

Zographou,

First off, please know that I am praying for you.

Also, even if you do lose your job, please be open to the thought that God has given you a special cross to bear, and that perhaps the reason you may be losing your job is to place you where He wants you, for your own salvation.

Don't let depression get to you! Stride forward with Truth!

In looking at your profile, perhaps they would let you teach Astronomy?   Smiley
