I skimmed some blog entries for 20 minutes, but I'm not sure that I have anything to say...

This is supposed to be newsworthy?  Good for him!  That's all I can think of.

The most important point is when he writes, "I will not be a pew-warmer..."  If he goes to the right parish, he won't have to worry about that.
Happy shall he be, that shall take and dash thy little ones against the rock. Alleluia.

Has he publicly renounced his very specific arguments against the Orthodox Church?

He was blogging on MonkRock for a while, and he claimed to be Orthodox at that time, but now all his writings have been erased from there.  ???

I don't know. I had read some of his stuff before when I was in between Catholicism and Orthodoxy myself. I wasn't sure if anyone on here had heard of him, I just thought his reasons were interesting.

Not specifically, but you could take certain passages from the post I linked to in that context.
Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.
