Spiritual Life in Ruins
« on: July 15, 2014, 01:01:22 AM »
I you could please pray for me. Since I started my new job about of month ago, my spiritual life has been in ruins. I've been struggling for nearly two months now, but since I started working this particular job things have really begun to spiral out of control to the point where I feel like I've hit rock bottom.

I want to turn back to God, but I'm beginning to feel hopeless.

Is it the "in" thing to say "I don't post here" but still post here?

Lord have mercy!

Try to see it as fire burning off dross, tempering steel.

Question a friend, perhaps he did not do it; but if he did anything so that he may do it no more.
A hasty quarrel kindles fire,
and urgent strife sheds blood.
If you blow on a spark, it will glow;
if you spit on it, it will be put out;
                           and both come out of your mouth

Lord, have mercy on your servant!

Remember who is Master, is something my experience would advise.
One hides amid pornography, angry music, television that shows the worst of mankind, misanthropic politics, an internet populace led by all the passions: and then one asks, "Where is God?"

Lord have mercy.. I feel the same about the spiritual life (hopeless) especially after watching that movie "Vanilla Sky" consulting myself and remembering everything I investigated about spirituality.

If your spiritual life was beyond repair, you wouldn't be on here requesting prayers.

Lord have mercy! May God bless you!

Lord, have mercy on  Sam G.
Psalm 37:23 The Lord guides a man safely in the way he should go.

Prov. 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.
