Dear Friends,
Yesterday, on Lazarus Saturday, I entered the Orthodox Faith at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Yonkers, NY. A long road from my Roman Catholic upbringing, Orthodoxy was the faith of my dearly departed maternal grandmother and great-grandparents. I am sure they guided my path from heaven!
Nice to be among you all!
Warm regards, Alexis (Douglas)

Many Years, Alexis! Looking at the icon you have posted, I take it your named after St. alexis Toth of Wilkes-Barre? I can say the one thing I'm proud of is now being originally from Wilkes-Barre...we have our own saint, who walked our streets. Also, being a former Roman Catholic, St. alexis is a good example for us.
