Someone signed up for orthodoxforum.com using my email address, and then went ahead and enabled topic notification on a bunch of threads.

I'm not too happy about this, and if it was someone from here who thought it would be clever, I suggest you fess up before I find out.

This is really weird, Bobby. I have been a member there since 7/04 and only saw "you" listed as a member a couple of months ago. The forum is very slow - only 2 or 3 posts in the last 60 days and those were last week, which could explain why you just discovered "your" account there recently (via those email notifications). I just checked "your" signup date there as in 11/04.
The question might be "Who has/had access to your email account in order to validate "your" membrship there in the fist place." IIRC, that site requires it as do most fora. (Yes, I know it might be possible to get around that, but I'm not going to discuss that in an open venue).
