I'M GOING TO COLLEGE....God willing.

I'm in the process of making my common app, deciding exactly which colleges I will apply to. I'll probably apply to about 15 colleges. I'm applying for Biomedical Engiineering and Biology(pre-med). My spiritual father(who is my Father of Confession) advised against Pre-med bio because of the insane competition that is constantly growing. Biomedical Engineering would allow me to work right out of college, get a masters and then work at a higher salary, or continue to medical school. I was on the fence about it but we talked after confession the other day and he really sold it to me.

Pray that I get accepted, that I choose the right college, that I receive scholarships. I really need scholarships because my sister is going to Med school(she's waiting for her MCAT score. PRay for that fervently) next year when I go to college so its quite a stressful time.

Pray that for my prayer life. Thank you.

May God help both you and your sister as you plan, study and prepare for your future careers.

Lord, have mercy!
Conquer evil men by your gentle kindness, and make zealous men wonder at your goodness. Put the lover of legality to shame by your compassion. With the afflicted be afflicted in mind. Love all men, but keep distant from all men.

Lord have mercy.
My only weakness is, well, never mind

And you'll sleep, but they'll find you

Come back my dream into my arms, into my arms

London is drowning, and I live by the river

Lord, have mercy on your children.
Psalm 37:23 The Lord guides a man safely in the way he should go.

Prov. 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.

Lord have mercy.

Have you narrowed down your choices yet?

All ye saints of God, intercede to God for us.
The memory of God should be treasured in our hearts like the precious pearl mentioned in the Holy Gospel. Our life's goal should be to nurture and contemplate God always within, and never let it depart, for this steadfastness will drive demons away from us. - Paraphrased from St. Philotheus of Sinai
Writings from the Philokalia: On Prayer of the Heart,
Translated from the Russian by E. Kadloubovksy and G.E.H. Palmer, Faber and Faber, London, Boston, 1992 printing.
