Please, please, please pray for me as TODAY I will be an Orthodox Christian and receive the sacraments of baptism, chrismation, and the Holy Eucharist. I can hardly believe it as I type it! I feel unready and unworthy. Please pray for me; I am so nervous! But how good God is!

It is you who should pray for me! "This day is salvation come to this house".
I will pray for you and ask that you include the sinner, George, in your prayers during the first seven days of wearing you baptisimal robe.

you have fear and Heavens have celebration
you feel unworthy and unready and Heavens welcome you
you can not believe it as reality and created reality itself passes away in meeting with the Uncreated
you feel nervous and Peace is embracing you

Sister Marjorie, my heart is with you, not for being with a newborn to be "Christian Person" but for being with Marjore, the whole person that you was already, that today is to be born into the Uncreated reality of the Life of the Persons of Trinity. I wish that this “today” lasts for ever.

prayer on entering an Orthodox church...
