Health related

I could use a few tiny prayers...

I am having a recurrence of an acid reflux related condition where it feels like someone is choking me/lump in throat, constantly.  I have restarted the meds for it, but its really unpleasant and I think perhaps stress is part of the cause....

It takes about a week for the medicine to kick in, so prayers for comfort in the meantime would be appreciated.

Lord have mercy.

Lord have mercy!
If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, challenge them to a fight. If anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, air their dirty laundry. If anyone forces you to go a mile, berate him continually. Give to those deemed worthy (if they pass a drug test), and turn not away from billionaires in need of tax breaks. This is [not] the Gospel.

I hope you feel better, soon.

Lord, have mercy!
Conquer evil men by your gentle kindness, and make zealous men wonder at your goodness. Put the lover of legality to shame by your compassion. With the afflicted be afflicted in mind. Love all men, but keep distant from all men.

Lord, have mercy on Denise.
Psalm 37:23 The Lord guides a man safely in the way he should go.

Prov. 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.

Lord, have mercy!
Happy shall he be, that shall take and dash thy little ones against the rock. Alleluia.

Lord have mercy!  Will be praying for you.
"Blind of spiritual eyes, I come to You, O Christ, as did the man blind from his birth, and I cry to You in penitence: Have mercy on me O You who illumine with exceeding brightness those who are in darkness." (The Office of Holy Unction)
